OBJECTIVE:
To create a unique website that provides a guide to
the New York City nightlife scene. Generate all of the site
content and design while putting together a revolutionary approach
to review bars. Allow users to submit their opinions as well
as the Bar Opinions staff. This is one of my personal websites
that has grown exponentially and has a strong following.
INVOLVEMENT:
Responsible for entire site development including design,
programming, and architecture. The design I developed reflected
the look and feel for this type of site that could appeal
appropriately to the target audience. The programming inclusive
is intensive and includes user postings, event details, advertising
rotations, mailing lists, searching, and much more. The architecture
is concise and to the point to assist the user when navigating
throughout the site. The site concept is very unique and perfect
for this industry. The writers for the site were made into
anonymous characters each of different background and interests.
When users read their reviews, they can try to put themselves
in the writers shoues depending on which profile they think
they match best.
