OBJECTIVE:
To create a unique electronic commerce website that
offers three types of products - Books, Music CD's, and Interactive
Story Book CD's. The product descriptions shlould be clear and
so should the checkout process. The site should take credit
cards at point of sale. Search engine submission is critical
to this site's success.
INVOLVEMENT:
Responsible for entire site development including design,
programming, and architecture. The design I developed reflected
the look and feel for this type of site that could appeal
appropriately to the target audience. The programming inclusive
is intensive and includes product administration, electronic
commerce, and user tracking. The shopping cart is built in
PHP using sessions. After the site was completed, I submitted
to all of the search engines as well as google adwords and
overture to increase traffic.
